An honest welcome to those who came down to read this,

As many reviews that I read of Utthama Villain starring Kamal Hassan, there have been views and opinions about the movie like it-The Movie belongs to everyone's diagnostic and over-romantic exploration of what they think Mr.Kamal Should Have, Has Had and of course Should Not have done in it-The Movie.

One of my good friends Om accompanied me to worship his idol of inspiration Mr.Kamal Hassan. Om can be certified as the encyclopedia of Kamal’s movie list. Watching a Kamal movie with Om is like walking with a Bhagvad Geetha in Kaasi.  It was a Second show 9:00 pm at INOX-Lido on a weekday, we reached in time and grabbed an 'allowed' Mineral water into the theatre and walked up to a seat that was messaged to us by BMS(BookMyShow). We found ourselves sitting next to a family and immediately we knew we must swap to a seat away so to be the Noise. We choose a place that was safe enough for our discussions and comments of our maestro of self proclamation Mr.Kamal Hassan.

As our anticipation heightened with a series of advertisements that endorsed Flesh, Health and Flavor in disguise to their products, Kamal marches into the screen walking his stardom till he stairs himself to a floor that elevated to a view for his admirers clear and plenty. The opening scene shot at the Forum Mall(Kormangala Bengaluru).  The movie scripts of a famed star in his peak of an acting career that spans more than 5 decades. In the movie he is a father to a son who flirts to romance the lust of innocence. Kamal kisses like he always does in a pictorially strange yet realistic manner to Andrea, She looks stunningly appropriate to a Doctor treating Kamal's wife aka Urvasi. Urvasi a onetime cute actress has aged in real and in this reel self.

Pooja Kumar plays a co star for a movie within this movie, Her acting has been apt to every full stop of her dialogued poetic script. I must clarify while I mention of the blame she has been victim to, she has overacted it seems, My questioned answer is how else would you expect an actor to play her role in a poetically dramatic movie within the movie that revolves with dialogues and emotions meant to be exaggerated.

Nasser's role was to be played like he indeed played, He does a fantastic work with his screen space of this mind tickling script. Nasser's identity stamps its authority on every sequence that his eyebrow raises to his famed nose rhythms.

M.S. Bhaskar has delivered to the expectations of his role, nothing too much, nothing too less. As an assistant to the famed star Kamal in the movie he does what he does.

Mr K.Vishwanath, a veteran director has in this movie attired and scripted pleasantly without any surprises to his often suiting roles of an elderly respectable man. Acting as the Father in Law of Kamal in the movie, K.Vishwanath plays the role with ease.

Mr.Jayaraman and Parvathi Menon's role must not be subjected to too many reviews as it was short and sweet and they suited good for it.

Andrea's role as a doctor is affair(‘ed) to extra with Kamal and she delivers quite responsibly with her script on the screen.

Kamal's role in the movie is justified to his real life stature, at some instances in the movie you begin to feel if he was thinking about his own life while writing the script. Kamal plays the emotions of a Star very convincible without notable complaints. We must admire his conscious effort to ensure that the role that he creates for himself in the movie suits his physical being in the present day. Kamal’s dances have slowed down to what they were once and his body is beginning to show signs of old age, which is not a complaint but just a concern that time is passing by and I request him to give me the honor to write a review someday soon on Marudhanayagam. Coming back to the movie, his second role in the movie involves of a Theyyam artist, who plays fun with himself in the character for the movie within the movie supposedly directed by Late Mr.K.Balachander in the movie within the movie. Kamal displays a whole complicated side of his acting prowess which left me mesmerized as to why I never got bored of a poetic play of the movie within the movie.

Mr.K.Balachander , Kamal’s intentions of thanking his Guru(Creator) in the Cine Industry must be learnt, admired and followed by generations in the present and in the future. How often do we thank our parents, Teachers, Friends and Relatives in molding us to what we become in life.

Ramesh Arvind, Many reviews that I read of claim that it is a movie of Kamal more than Ramesh Arvind , Well I beg to differ out of non loyalty to blind surrender. People who watched the movie are so amused and awestruck with the performance that Kamal has displayed that they are emotionally obliged to believe that Kamal is solely responsible for the movie director’s act. I mean spare some appreciation to Ramesh he too deserves to have agreed to take up such a mammoth task of directing Kamal’s extravagant write.

The Real Mr.Kamal Hassan,  @Kamal, You are the man whom I remember as written off by many in my known taller circle as a 'no more' yet you have been steadily rising your stature to a cult of your own like the mythical phoenix from its ashes.  Frankly speaking I hate the accolades you constantly receive from your fans and your admirers. Somewhere and Somehow the constant pampering of you Mr.Kamal makes me feel that people have crossed their pleasant limits of admiration and have grown annoying in the way they praise you. In my opinion I don’t think that you really want to be constantly rained with appreciation for you as Mr.Kamal Hassan, the inventor of creative cinema in Tamil and Indian cinema as a whole. I strongly beg his fans to admire and value his work by raising their standards of acceptation and allowing him to dissolve his creativity to a farther level and reach.

 His Fluency and strict speech in Tamil Literature is way ahead of any other imminent personality that I am aware of, not that there are no good Tamil aware personalities, just that the pleasantness and deep feeling that Kamal’s Tamil speech brings to me practically leaps way ahead of what I know and not know of Tamil literature.  Oops! Did I myself get carried away by his might and start praising him again!, I hope not. A thousand Salutes to your work Mr.Kamal Hassan.

Now for the movie in short…I won’t mention too much because I want you to experience the creation of the creative.

Watching Utthama villain at INOX Lido Bangalore, with only a handful of seats weighed down by audiences of darkened view, apparently due to lights turned off made my watch of the movie a relaxed yet an observatory feeling. Kamal as a famed star is wound around the regular life of a film star that involves his family, his affairs and his failed relationship in the past. What gets tragic in the beginning of the movie is the news that Manoranjan(Kamal ) is informed that he suffers from a brain tumor and may not live longer. At this juncture as anyone can guess his time is short in life and wants to do one final act of his life. He requests his yesteryear Guruji Director Margadharshi (K.Balachander) to direct one last movie of his that must have comedy to ensure that his last act makes people laugh. Margadarshi agrees after a long reluctance. Just while all this is happening Manoranjan(Kamal ) is brought to notice of his love child many years ago who does now a fully grown daughter want to see her biological father. Manoranjan(Kamal ) is introduced to her anger and frustrations against him for disposing her mother, but the script unfolds to inform her that Manoranjan(Kamal ) was not aware that his love life prior to marriage had reached a tragic end. However he is happy to see his daughter and introduces her to his now family. The movie that he is working on is near completion and while his family of love and family of reel unite together, his condition due to his bran tumor aggravates and he passes away. The End

In a single line, just watch it guys, it’s a drama, a creation, a poetic comedy, immense hard work and probably you can better add more adjectives that I may have missed out.
