Introduction of Om:

[Its Om's first day at his office, He has a Paper in his hand in which he has been asked to meet Miss. Shanthi]

Om [Reads out Loud]: Welcome to Donald Infotech, Please Meet Miss Shanthi

Om: Oh, Let me ask the security for Miss. Shanthi, she must be the HR of this Company.

[Om Walks towards the security who is sitting on a chair and sleeping with his hung from his shoulders]

Om: Excuse me, EXCUSEMEEEEE BHAISAAB[Trying to wake the Security guard from his sleep]

[Security Guard wakes up shocked ]

Security Guard: Kya Re , Thereko Kannada nai Athi Kya, Yaake Chillatha hai

Om: Oh Sorry Sir I am a new Joinee in this company. And I have been asked to meet Miss. Shanthi as part of my joining formalities.

Security Guard: Saarry Saar! You are a employee aa? Very Saarry.

Security Guard: You have to take Sign in this Register on your first day and then enter the office.

Om: Ok, Let me sign on the register.

Security guard: You have to meet Miss Shanthi aaa?

Om: Yes, that’s what my letter reads.

Security guard: vokey Saar, Take the first right in the Lobby and there will be a cabin where you will find Miss. Shanthi.

Om: Oh, fine then , thank you.

[Om now adjusts his tie and walks into the Lobby bending to his right showing his eagerness in meeting the HR]

[Om Finally reaches the door of Miss. Shanthi's Cabin, and knocks on the Door.]

[Om sees a lady with her hair covering her face and typing something on her laptop, he tries to stand on his toes to get a second look of her, while doing So Shanthi notices him]

Shanthi[smiles]: Hi, Are you here to meet me?[she questions]

Om[Still dumbstruck at her beauty]: Yes, Yes I have here to meet Miss. Shanthi, I, I am a new joinee to this company and have been asked to meet you in the joining letter.

[Om hands out the joining letter]

[Shanthi Reaches out to the letter and even before she looks at the letter, she points out with a pen in her hand]

Shanthi: You must be Om?

Om: Yes Ma'am, I am.

Shanthi: Please don't call me Ma'am , You can call me Shanthi.

Om: Ok Ma'am I mean Shanthi Ma'am , Sorry Shanthi.

[Shanthi starts to smile]

[Om's admiration senses have peaked to its highest capacity looking at her perfectly formed style]

Shanthi: Let me take you to your Manager, who should help you take over your activities.

[Shanthi walks out of her cubicle and reveals her beautiful figure which Om  can't stop gazing at]

[Shanthi and Om walk towards another cubicle where the Manager Mr.Vikram is sitting over]

[Manager Vikram's sitting position is quiet funny, he is sitting away from the laptop with his hands stretched out to type on the keyboard- this is because his stomach would not allow him to be near his laptop]

[The moment Vikram hears the sound of Shanthi's leg Chain, he stops typing on the keyboard with his fingers half touching the keyboard and the other in the air]

Vikram: Belcome Miss Shanthi, how are you?

[Shanthi, does not seem very comfortable walking into his room , but manages a fake smile on her face.]

[Om is watching Shanthi and Vikram as they speak]

Shanthi: I am good Vikram, I hope you had a nice weekend too.

Shanthi: well I am here to introduce the Mr.Om , who would be a new joinee to your team, and helping you with your Quality related Services domain.

[Vikram turns his head towards Mr.Om while he stops smiling with this new introduction]

[Vikram stretches out his hand struggling to be sitting and shaking hands with Om]

Vikram: Oh Ij it, Welcome Mr.Om, you are greatly welcome to Donald Infotech and its phamily. I mean we are not your phamily, but just saying so ironically. ha ha ha

[Neither Shanthi nor Om seem to smile at this ironic atom bomb from Mr.Vikram]

[Om Looks at Shanthi with a confused look over Vikram's PJ's]

[Shanthi smiles a little with her fingers covering her giggle]

Vikram: Shanthi ma'am I will take care of him, you don't need to bhurry. he is now my responsibility. ha ha ha

[Again Shanthi and Om exchange looks , but now over with disgust]

Shanthi: alright then Vikram and Om I will leave from here, hope you have a nice time working here at Donald Infotech.

[Shanthi Leaves the room]

[Vikram and Om are watching Shanthi walk away from the room]

[Vikram notices Om too staring at Shanthi where he interrupts]

Vikram: Hmmm[Adjusting his throat]

[Om now realizes and looks at Vikram]

Vikram: So Mr.Bhom, I will help you with our process and your responsibilities for the initial few days and after that you will handle your own responsibilities...ha ha ha

[Om is now expectedly annoyed at the PJ's cracked by Vikram]

Om:He he[Sarcastically], Yes Vikram I understand.

Vikram[Pointing towards at an empty desk]:So Mr.Bhom ,that is your cubicle, and these are your credentials, along with the employee handbook. Please feel comfortable and let me feel comfortable too..ha ha ha

[Om this time does not even bother to return a fake smile like otherwise, and quietly walks towards his desk with the Hand book in hand]

At the Canteen

[After a month now, Om has been working really hard- not with the work but with managing his managers nonsense, but apparently Om has made another friend named Ronnie with whom he feels very comfortable]

[Om has been having the tasteless Canteen food, but he is not bothered about that, he has been trying hard to spot Shanthi, as he had been informed that Shanthi was on a deputation to Hyderabad- Ronnie is providing him with all this information.]

[Om is in the Canteen eating his lunch, while looking at the Canteen entrance as always trying to Spot Shanthi]

Ronnie: Om, I forgot to tell you, Shanthi is back from the deputation I spoke to her today.

Om[With delight over his face]: Hey why did you not tell me before, I had actually passed by her cubicle today , but did not notice her there.

Ronnie: She was a little laaaate thoo offfishh[Speaking while eating- he meant- she was a little late to office]

Om[smiling at Ronnie eat and talk]: Ok, I hope I see her.

[Om and Ronnie waited at the Cafeteria for Shanthi to appear, but to their dismay she did not turn up]

[they kept walking towards the lift, when suddenly the lift door opens up and Om stands still without words -]

Shanthi[smiles at Om and quickly shifts her attention to Ronnie]: Hi Ronnie, how are you? how is your son.

Ronnie: I am fine Shanthi, hope you are fine too.

Shanthi: yes I am, I have to discuss some process changes with regards to KRA, Are you free at 4 :00 pm we can sit and discuss?

Ronnie: Sure Shanthi, we can discuss.

[Shanthi smiles and walks away from the lift , while Om is still looking at her following the way her open beautiful hair were jumping with every step of hers]

[Ronnie patted on Om's shoulders and smiles]

[Om looks at Ronnie and like his forgotten something runs out of the lift towards the canteen, trying to find where shanthi was]

Ronnie: Hey Om, where are you going?

Om: Wait for me, I think I have forgotten something.

Ronnie: what? oh ok.

[Om looks around but finds Mr.vikram cracking his jokes to Shanthi from a distance]

[Om hits his hand on his thighs and walks back to his Cabin]

The Talk after the first Talk

[Early in the morning to office Om is entering his office, The security Guard who had at first stopped him during his induction was as usual at his sleeping best in the early morning]

[Om Walks towards the door and opens the main door, while he does so, a warmth of a hand touches his fingers and immediately as it touched it is taken aback]

[It was none other than Shanthi, Her beautiful open hair could not stop Om from staring at her without a flick of an eyelid, She smiles at Om]

[Om did not want this meeting to end with a glimpse and could not stop himself but speak]

Om: Hi Shanthi, How are you doing?

Shanthi: I am good how are you

Om: I I am doing great

[Om holds the door for her while she walks away in to the confusing partitions of their office.And Om is still holding the Door, when his friend Ronnie surprises him with a pat on his back]

Om:Ronnie! Today I spoke to her, and she was smiling

Ronnie: Hmm, I don't know what to say. you should understand better what that means.

Om:Yes , Exactly what I was thinking, do you thinks she is interested in me?

Ronnie: No duffer, I think she is just exchanging pleasantries and nothing else.

Om: But I will have to tell her what I feel about her.

Ronnie: Yeah, better out than in.

Om:Hmm..I can win the world if only she is with me.

Ronnie: I don't know about that , but surely you will get noticed if your Boss Vikram gets to know about you liking her.

Om: We'll see.

[that Afternoon Om ensured that Ronnie finished his work in time so that he could see shanthi]

[Om and Ronnie waited at the cafeteria as time passed by , Om gazed at the entrance of the Cafeteria expecting her to come along, but she did not turn up]

Ronnie: she must have had some important work to do.

Om: Yeah I am sure she does.

[Om and Ronnie walked out of the cafeteria, with Om looking disappointed]

[Just when they were near the lift Om spotted her at a distance walking up the stairs. Om was jubilant]

Om:Ronnie, you carry on , I will see you while we head back home,

[Ronnie understood the signal and he did just that]

[Om ran back to the Canteen, and ordered himself a tea while watching Shanthi from time to time]

[Om saw her walking towards the only available two chaired table when he also noticed Mr.Vikram walking towards her, Om did not want to lose this opportunity, he did not care if Vikram noticed him, he saw Shanthi sitting at the Table and rushed towards her]

Om: Hi Shanthi,  If you don't mind can I give you company for your lunch.?

Shanthi[smiling]: Yes You can..

Om: Hope you were not expecting someone?

Shanthi: Not at all..

Shanthi: Good you came at the right time, else I would have had to spend my linch with Vikram and his annoying joke.

[Om Laughed aloud at this]

[Shanthi looked at Om and continued laughing too]

Shanthi: so, how is your work nowadays? I heard you have some tight deadlines this month?

Om: Yeah as usual , these deadlines are never going to change at least in the IT world.

[Both shared a smile on this]

Om: Coming back to Vikram, I think he is attracted towards you? don't you think so.

Shanthi: I know that, he offered to marry me within the first month of me joining under him,

Om: What that’s unbelievable

Shanthi: and stupid offered me his bank balance which runs more than a crore.

Om: Ok! now that is News!

Shanthi: I don't know why I am telling you all this, but I am annoyed with such behavior of people towards me

Om: I understand it must be annoying indeed.

Shanthi: Om, please do not reveal this to anyone, especially not to your friends, I don't know why I revealed all this to you, I think I just felt comfortable talking to you. I was just waiting to tell this someone I could trust.

Om : You can trust me on this Shanthi.

Shanthi: And I have to tell you one more thing,

Om: What?

Shanthi: I am a divorcee, I have a son who is 5 years old.

Om was astonished to hear all this, not with depression but with curiosity as to how such a beautiful and well mannered girl could have gone through a divorce.

Om: But why did it happen.

Shanthi: I was married at an early age due to my father’s irresponsibleness and..

{Shanthi Starts to cry]

Om:Oh my god, Shanthi Its alright you don't have to go through all this by telling me your story, if you feel that is saddening you.

Shanthi: No Om it’s not that, I really wanted to pour my heart out to someone I could trust, I think god intended me to meet you this way.

Om: Ok Shanthi, if you feel better, then I am here for you.

Shanthi: Nothing my marriage ended in a divorce due to my husband’s drinking activities, he just tortured me to the core and within the second year I had to call off this marriage.

[Om wanted to know more about the breakup but felt it wise not to ask ]

Shanthi: I am now trying to make up my life again, and men are still troubling me.

[although Om felt the guilt within himself but just kept listening quietly as nothing was in his mind]

Om:I wish I could help you Shanthi..

Shanthi: Its fine Om, I think I found a good friend today. I am happy for that.

Om: Always Shanthi , I will be there for you, you can reach me anytime for any kind of help.

His Approach to Propose her- Rejection

[Om does not reveal anything to Ronnie, but he is not able to control his feelings even after the revelation that is done by Shanthi, He continues to think of her as the woman he wants to spend his rest of the life with]

[Om decides that he must tell her his feelings, even if she thinks that he is selfish and so un understanding towards her feelings]

The next Day, Om sends her a message "I want to talk to you today , can we at the cafeteria for a cup of coffee?"

She replies : Yes , sure we can

[Om waits anxiously for the Tea Break and sits at the cafeteria an hour ahead of the agreed time]

[Om watches at the door and exactly after 1 minutes past 4:00pm he sees a beautiful angel walking towards the entrance, it was none other than shanthi, now he feels he does not have any doubt in his mind and he must tell her his feelings today]

Shanthi: Hey Om, How are you?

Om: Phew, I am fine, how are you.

Shanthi: I feel great today.

Shanthi: After speaking to you yesterday I felt very very relieved , than you Om , thanks a tonne.

Om:I am glad I helped.

Shanthi: You indeed did make a change to my life.

Om: thanks.

shanthi: Ok, what is it , you called to see me urgently?

Om: yes there is something that I want to share with you.

Shanthi: Ok , Go ahead, I really hope I can help you.

Om thinks to himself- You sure can.

Shanthi: What happened

Om: I I Love you.

[shanthi gets up immediately from her chair astonished at Om's reply]

Shanthi: What’s wrong with you?

Om: I am serious, I really do like you, even before you told me about your story I did and after listening to your story I just have more respect for you and I must say that I will take care of you and your Son as my own family

Shanthi: Its insane, I did not expect this from you. And my answer is NO I am not interested,

[shanthi leaves hurriedly from the table]

[Om tries to stop her, but does not want to bring attention from passersby and decides to hold on to himself.

the Revelation of Om-2 in Her life

[After repeated persistence failing to get Shanthi's attention for an apology opportunity something strange happens]

[Om is walking outside of the gate to catch his bus , while she sees a guy in a Scooter waiting at the gate for someone, Om is not bothered till he finds Shanthi walking towards him and riding a pillion with him]

[Om is confused about all that happens and this it must be some relative of hers who is come to drop her, may be her brother, he talks to himself]

While sitting over a lunch with Om

Ronnie: whets wrong with you Om? you have been very absent minded since a month now.

Om: Its nothing Ronnie, I will get over it , I just want to apologize to her.

Ronnie: shall I talk to her about your intentions.

Om: No ?Ronnie, please leave it to me, I started it, let me end it too.

Ronnie: Fine Om, ?just let me know if you should need my help.

Om:sure my friend.

[Om decides that today he must talk to her, whatever be the outcome]

[During the Tea Break , Om is in the cafeteria, but Shanthi does not turn up that day]

[Next day again she does not come]

[the day after she does come all dressed up in a beautiful way, Om decides that whatever happens he will speak to her by the end of the day]

[Ronnie comes running towards Om holding a card in his hands]

Ronnie: Om! Om! We need to talk,

Om: Yes we are , tell me what you want to say

Ronnie: can you just come out of the floor?

Om: Why what is the matter?

Ronnie: Just get out with me.

[Om stops all his work and accompanies ?Ronnie]

{They stop at the lift lobby when Ronnie hands a invitation to Om. Om is surprised at the invitation and opens it

It read Shanthi Weds Om

Om[could not control his emotions ]: he has a confused smile on his face, what does this mean

Ronnie: You got it wrong mate. Read below, she is marrying someone named Om who is from Andaman, it’s not your name for God’s sake!

Om: Yeah , I am so sorry, I feel so stupid in thinking so. I don't know what to say

Ronnie: Dude , just move over , she will be married in another 10 day and there is nothing you can do.

[Om is confused and wants an answer from shanthi, He says to himself that he must meet Shanthi today and get things sorted out]

[Om waits till evening and finds her right at the end of the cafeteria just about to leave with her friend.]

[Om calls on her]

Om: shanthi! I want to speak to you.

[Shanthi does not respond and walks away quickly to avoid any kind of commotion]

[But apparently her friend Jyothi stays back]

[Om puts his head down in dismay for not getting an opportunity to speak to her]

[Jyothi calls on Om]

Jyothi: Om!, I have something to tell you. Can you spare a minute,, it’s about Shanthi

Om looks at her in despair and they sit over the table.

Jyothi: Shanthi is getting married in another 10 days, it’s not out of force, It is to a childhood friend of hers , This was on the cards since a year now but they were waiting for the guys parents concern, She did not betray anyone.

Om: What ? ?I am confused.

Jyothi: so was I , Shanthi revealed this to me just today.

Jyothi: You must forget her , she is starting a new life and a better life.

Om: Ok, but she could have spoken to me about this.

Jyothi: Everything in life does not have to be explained , something’s are right the way they are, she asked me to inform you that she still respects you and thinks of good for you and you must move one with your life.

Om: Ok Jyothi. thank you for revealing this to me.

[Om is dejected and walks back to his Cubicle, where he is awaited by ?Ronnie, He explains everything to him]

[Ronnie tries to console him, but he knows Om will come out of all this]

The Marriage of Om-2 and Shanthi

[Om has it in his mind and decides to attend the marriage in spite of her not inviting him]

[Om says to Ronnie]

Om: I must come along with you for the marriage

Ronnie: Are you insane, I don’t want you to feel bad after seeing her get married to someone else

Om: Please ?Ronnie I must be there.

Ronnie: You are a stubborn guy dude, fine I'll take you there.

[Om and Ronnie arrive at the wedding, It is a small wedding and temple, and very few guests are invited.

Om and Ronnie arrive on time and are seated at the last rows of the hall]

[there are tears in Om's eyes, but he acts as though he has control over himself]

[Ronnie watches him from next to him, but decides not to speak a word]

[ At the time of showering their blessings , Om runs towards the stage to bless both of them, Shanthi watches Om at the marriage, but ignores him completely]

[Om and Ronnie walk out of the wedding without speaking to anyone else, Ronnie thought to console Om, but felt Om was wise enough to handle everything ]

The moving on of Om

[Om never spoke about it to anyone, even during lunch with Ronnie, he would avoid any question related to him]

[Ronnie was frustrated of Om not letting his feelings pour out, so decided one day that he must speak]

Ronnie: Are you sane, don't you have anything to say of all that happened, it’s been more than a month.

Om[Smiles quietly]: something’s in  life are meant to be the way they are, Everything that has happened must have happened for the good and I am strong believer in it. I can't change anyone else except myself, it is a learning in my life and a beautiful memory that I wish to keep close to my heart even till my dying stages.

Ronnie: You are great! I have so many people in life who would have done something otherwise, but it takes great courage and wisdom to take everything that has happened in such a positive aspect. I really worship your attitude and wisdom.
